Dashboard - TikTok Analytics

The Analytics page of the Dashboard provides in-depth analysis on comment classification and moderation. For TikTok, in order to align with their API policy, some data are not displayed.

📊 In order to enable comment classification, moderation and analytics, Bodyguard.ai uses platforms' APIs to retrieve posts and messages published on social media. Each API integration offers different types of access.

TikTok enables the display of analytics regarding volume of messages and removals, as well as languages detected. Any data that could be related to sentiment analysis - including our classification system - is not to be disclosed. These limitations have no impact on moderation, only in our monitoring capabilities. Also note that, because we only have limited statistics on TikTok, analytics reports will not be available for this source.

Analytics overview

When connecting to the Dashboard, data from all sources are displayed by default. If a TikTok source is active, you will see this pop up message:

It means that data from all sources are displayed, except for TikTok. We chose not to include them in the overall analysis because only three charts can show data from this particular source, which would lead to inconsistent and confusing results.

The same message will be displayed if you select any other source or source type in addition to TikTok.

In order to monitor comments from TikTok through the Analytics page, you need to select the TikTok source or source type, and only TikTok.

Analytics on TikTok sources

When selecting TikTok only as a source or source type, you will be able to retrieve some limited data on message volume, follower evolution and languages. Classification analysis will not be available.

Please be informed that, as classification cannot be shown in the Analytics page, it also goes for the message and author sections, where only the action taken will be displayed.

Message Analytics

The total volume of messages received will be displayed, without the detail on categories.

The evolution of messages will show the number of comments received over a period of time of your choosing, just like any other source.

The evolution of the followers will also be displayed, but TikTok followers will not be included in the global amount showed when you first connect.

The distribution of comments by recommended action will also be displayed, showing what percentage and volume of comments published on your TikTok posts has been kept or removed.

Lastly, the distribution of messages by language will also be available, giving out details on TikTok global communities.

For any other chart, data will not be available
and this message will be shown instead:
